Since black-hooded Yakko shares Marine's grief with the ever-perky Cha Cha, who better to team up with against her? Yakko's experiments don't exactly work (take the love potion that backfired horribly for instance), but you have to give them credit for being so determined and devious. It's not so much a friendship as it is a partnership in crime (against Cha Cha), since Yakko charges Marine for her services. Yakko's number one goal in life is to become a student of Seravi-sensei and marrying him once old enough. Thing is, Seravi already has a student - Cha Cha. This angers Yakko, bringing her to do whatever it takes to get her out of the picture for good.
